About Us – CanEduDev Rover

CanEduDev originated as a side project within Kvaser AB in 2018, aiming to create a leading platform for hands-on learning about the Controller Area Network (CAN) protocol. In 2019, the project expanded through collaborations with technical universities and the involvement of summer students who contributed to developing and testing early versions of the DevKits. By 2021, CanEduDev had established partnerships with leading Swedish universities and onboarded its first test clients, validating the DevKits’ value in both academic and real-world applications. Recognizing its potential, CanEduDev became a standalone company in 2023, dedicating resources to its mission of demonstrating and testing new CAN software and hardware products, thereby fostering innovation and hands-on learning in the CAN domain.
